Upcoming Meetings! July 18th and August 15th
Tomorrow is the day! We are happy to welcome Velmarie Peoples to the podium to hear her uplifting and empowering talk on the wisdom we have within us. She will be speaking this night about “How Women were Anointed and Appointed to be Wise Business Leaders.”
Ms. Peoples serves as manager of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCVP) Homeownership Program for the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), where she oversees the administration of over 500 rental voucher participants pursuing their dream of homeownership. In addition to her demanding work schedule, Ms. Peoples is a leader within her church, a member on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Educational Mentoring Alliance, an ordained minister, bible teacher, mother of 4 and wife of the Reverend Ricardo Peoples. This is going to be a very exciting meeting!

Charleyse “Charley” Pratt is an experienced Organizational Development Consultant and Human Resource professional with over 25 years experience. She has worked as an internal and external consultant on matters involving large system change, strategic planning, executive and leadership development, and Team leadership and employee relations.
Dr. Pratt is currently employed as Director of the Baldwin-Wallace College East Campus location in Beachwood, Ohio. She has been an Adjunct Faculty in the CASE University School of Engineering and a regular presenter for the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College – Advanced Minority Business Executive Program. She is a recipient of the Graduate Dean’s Instructional Excellence Award at CASE.
