Support Local Women’s Programs
At the last Pumpkin Fest in Huntsburg Ohio, I ran into a couple of volunteers who are very concerned about battered women and children. They were there collecting donations and money for raffle tickets to raffle off a quilt to raise money for Women Safe, Inc, in Chardon Ohio.
Women’s Safe is a resource for victoms of domestic violence offering services such as 24 hour support and crisis management, COPEline (1-888-285-5665), emergency shelters and support services, information, counseling, education, and referrals.
