Whirlpool for Entrepreneurial ideas?
I stumbled upon a neat set of videos on Whirlpool’s Wed Site that is dedicated to “Helping moms turn great dreams and business ideas into reality”. Ever wonder who was behind Baby Einstein and Tasefully Simple, and how they cultivated their ideas?
Whirlpool challenged moms in a contest called “Mother of Invention”. The Web Site shows the 2005 videos of “business boot camp experience including business advice and tips from the experts” and features Julie Aigner-Clark, creator of Baby Einstein products and Jill Blashack Strahan, founder and CEO of Tastefully Simple. “These moms both started their respective companies with limited funds and resources, paving the way for their multi-million dollar businesses. They truly are role models of success for future women entrepreneurs.”
