Hello members and potential members.

As summer draws to a close, school and fall/winter activities begin! The board and I are excited as to what WOW’s future holds, including upcoming meetings and our Anniversary dinner!

This month, September, we will hear Patty Kozlow speak on marketing and her very successful venture. Let’s give her all the support she deserves, which a lot! Patty is the one who creates our monthly, beautiful newsletters, flyers, and other creative marking literature for our organization. On top of her full time job and her own business, she finds the time in her busy schedule to support our group. This October is a huge accomplishment for our chapter! We will be celebrating our 1^st year anniversary. The board, and especially Celeste Noah - Programs Director - have been painstakingly hammering out plans for this event. We are inviting other chapters, will be holding it at the Holiday Inn in Independence, will have vendor tables for members and non members, and are welcoming spouses, just like at our installation dinner.  Ask me or Celeste form more information, but you can also check out the meeting minutes from August to get the details. I will be posting something to our Web soon. Save the date for this exciting networking opportunity, and the chance to meet others in ABWA.

As promised, I have been doing a lot of networking and plan on doing much more to gain more members. We still need many more enthusiastic women to support other needed committees such as scholarships, community work, and professional development. I have been to Beachwood Chamber meetings, passed my card around the Taste of Hudson, I am going to the exciting “Rainmakers” event sponsored by Northern Ohio Live. I am excited to see what my second term holds, and hope that you can help me make this chapter larger than life!

Still working on PayPal links. Sorry for any of you who are trying to pay with our PayPal links. I have enlisted Patty Kozlow to help me with this as I have been unsuccessful by myself. It is hopeful that this will be up and running soon and will be more user friendly.
